Magnetic nanoparticles based on iron and its oxides are promising in various biomedical applications. Currently, as a rule, ferromagnetic oxide particles with low specific magnetic moment used for medical purposes. In the present work, new method synthesis of electric explosion Fe wire is proposed. When wires dispersed by high current pulse an inert atmosphere containing less than 5% oxygen, core-shell structure formed, where core α-Fe shell formed mixture Fe3O4 FeO. The oxygen concentration buffer gas has been found to determine size resulting nanoparticles, their shape, content. protects from external environment, preventing rapid dissolution contrast obtained argon atmosphere. depending content oxides, varies 90 180 emu/g.
